PAINTING IS LIKE BREATHING

Light, water, and vastness define my painting.

In works - typically large-scale pieces using acrylic and oil on canvas - I combine natural motifs with abstract elements.

My works exist in the space between reality and atmosphere. They create sanctuaries of calm, invite the viewer to pause, and open up new perspectives on the beauty of nature and one’s own perception.

Water is a central theme in my artistic work. It is constant, yet constantly reveals new facets. It is in perpetual motion, seemingly sweeping away worries as it flows along its path. It tells stories and brings a sense of calm.

Today, I pursue painting as my full-time profession. Alongside my own artistic practice, I share my experience and passion for art as an instructor at my own art school.
